Does USR need the internet?
Not for scanning, measuring, or drafting. Once trials open, USR checks its licence over the internet about once a day when it can, and keeps working for up to 30 days without it.
Which ultrasound machines work with USR?
A machine that can send DICOM studies to a PC on the clinic network. Reading the measurement text on the screen is built for GE screens today. For another make, ask us before you start.
Is patient data sent to VeloraByte?
No. Patient names, scans, images, and reports stay on the clinic PC. The cloud keeps accounts, licences, the licensed PCs (a name the clinic types and a one-way code for the PC), and trial requests.
Who checks the measurements?
The doctor. Every value is shown for the doctor to check, and nothing is final until the doctor reviews it.
What happens when a trial ends?
New drafts and measurements stop after a short grace period. Nothing is deleted. Existing patients, studies, and reports stay viewable, printable, and exportable.
What PC do I need?
A Windows PC in the clinic, on the same network as the ultrasound machine.
Which languages?
English. Voice is English only for now.
